A Little About Me
I sketch ideas, push pixels, write code, and occasionally get a little carried away with a new project. I've spent my career finding ways to turn creative thinking into things people can actually use.
The chapters that shaped the work
From my first web design job to building modern digital experiences, here's a look at the journey so far.
Early 2000s
Work FocusWeb Designer
I started my web design career at Marketing Concepts, building websites with Adobe Dreamweaver and Fireworks. Little did I know I'd return years later to the company it would eventually become, working with an entirely different generation of tools.

Work FocusReal estate website design
At eNeighborhoods, I created real estate websites for agents and brokers connected to Realtor.com. When my manager moved on, I stepped into the team management role. It was a major turning point in my career, giving me leadership experience and building relationships that would open doors for years to come. Separately, a director from eNeighborhoods later started BOOKT.
Work FocusStartup & agency web design
After eNeighborhoods, I spent a brief stretch at SOMOS TV, an online television startup, and 304 Media, a small design agency where I worked as a web designer. My former manager from eNeighborhoods had joined SOMOS TV and later introduced me to College.com, opening the door to my next chapter.
2007
Work FocusSocial platform development
College.com was my first experience working in a hybrid setup, helping create a social platform with a Facebook-like concept. People I met there eventually connected me with opportunities involving InstaManager, SkyCig, JoyCig, and SmartMat.
2008
bookt/bʊkt/proper noun
Pronounced “booked.” A vacation-rental technology startup.
Work FocusStartup Product Design, UI/UX & Front-End Development
I helped shape digital products in the vacation-rental industry, taking ideas from early concepts through design and development.
2008–2012
SkyCig, JoyCig & SmartMat
Work FocusProduct Design, Branding, Web Design & Marketing
I helped emerging startups bring their products and brands to life through product design, digital experiences, and creative marketing.
2013–2019
Work FocusUI/UX Design, SaaS Products & Team Leadership
Following the acquisition, I continued designing digital products for the vacation-rental industry, collaborating with product and development teams to improve user experiences.
2020
Work FocusUI/UX design & front-end implementation
In a full-circle career moment, I returned to the company where it all began. Marketing Concepts had evolved into Ability Commerce, and this time I was helping modernize legacy e-commerce applications, redesign workflows, and build interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, and PrimeNG. From Dreamweaver and Fireworks to modern front-end development, quite a journey.

Work FocusPersonal work & ongoing exploration
I'm still designing, building, and learning. These days I'm exploring React, Next.js, creative coding, and AI-assisted development while bringing years of design and front-end experience into whatever comes next.

From rough sketches to polished digital experiences, creativity rarely switches off.
A little dirt, a lot of patience, and the satisfaction of watching something take shape.
Always exploring new tools, experimenting with ideas, and finding better ways to design and build.
